Bookmatched walnut scrap lumber with a handle so now we can transfers our pizzas onto the baking stones easier.
Another design by Matthew Osborn that I built in our shop. Walnut with natural edge Osage Orange. Bed hardware was used so the runners and slats are removable for ease of transport.
Moving into the space occupied by Crash Course Games, CC Comp. Sci. is right around the corner, and more excited than I've ever been to build this set. I'll be installing pegboard to fully outfit the workspace once these workstations are assembled.
What is one thing that the creative/design community can do in Indianapolis to help grow an audience for custom or handcrafted work?
I think that word of mouth is hugely important. Recommending other makers/artists makes a big difference. I think that the more you talk about people’s work and the importance of hand made work, the more people think about what they are buying and what they are supporting.
